Après l’incident malheureux qui est survenu ce jeudi 28 septembre, au stade de l’unité à Goma(RDC), l’armée congolaise via le porte parole du gouverneur militaire au Nord-Kivu, a communiqué l’origine de l’engin qui a explosé et fait des blessés.
« Il est porté à la connaissance de la population de la ville de Goma, que ce jeudi 28 septembre 2023 aux environs de 16h, une Roquette de l’arme RPG 7 que détenait un élément des Forces Armées de la République Démocratique du Congo à bord d’une Jeep Militaire au niveau du rond-point appelé communément INSTIGO, a lâché par inadvertance après que le véhicule ait bondi sur la chaussée». Indique le communiqué signé par le lieutenant colonel Guillaume Ndjike Kaiko.
Par ailleurs, la même source renseigne que la roquette tombée au stade de l’Unité, a causé 12 blessés dont 11 civils et le militaire détenteur de l’arme. Mais également, dit-il, tous ces blessés sont pris en charge à l’Hôpital Provincial où, malheureusement, l’une des victimes à succomber de ses blessures.
Pour ce faire, le Gouverneur Militaire Ad Intérim de la Province du Nord-Kivu, le Général Major CIRIMWAMI NKUBA Peter a présenté ses compassions et appelé la population au calme.
