Le Président du parti politique Mouvement Lumumbiste Progressiste (MLP), Franck DIONGO, a déposé ce mercredi 27 septembre 2023, sa candidature à la Présidentielle de décembre prochain, au Bureau de Réception et Traitement des Candidatures (BRTC), au siège de la CENI.
Après avoir rempli tous les critères requis, le postulant s’est entretenu, comme tous les autres candidats avant lui, avec le numéro un de la Centrale électorale, Denis KADIMA KAZADI.
Au sortir de son entretien avec le numéro un de la CENI, Franck DIONGO qui s’est livré à la presse, s’est présenté comme le porteur du changement que le Congo et les congolais souhaitent.
« La seule chose que les Congolais et les Congolaises doivent retenir, c’est qu’aujourd’hui, c’est le jour du changement, l’heure de la rupture avec le passé et le changement réel a sonné, l’heure de la gouvernance intègre pour réhabiliter le Congo dans sa grandeur et les Congolais dans leur dignité. Le Président de la CENI a eu l’amabilité de me saluer comme candidat président de la République, parce qu’à l’époque il avait rencontré d’autres candidats. Comme je suis venu personnellement déposer ma candidature, il a voulu faire connaissance avec le candidat qui venait déposer son dossier », a-t-il déclaré.
Répondant à une question sur sa perception personnelle de l’équipe actuelle de la CENI, le Président du MLP a émis le souhait de voir la centrale électorale publier les résultats qui reflètent la volonté du peuple souverain.
« Le problème c’est de mettre la CENI à l’épreuve, nous avons déposé notre candidature nous voulons voir la CENI à l’œuvre, c’est-à-dire nous plaidons pour des élections transparentes de sorte que le résultat qui sera proclamé reflète le vote : le Président élu, le député national ou provincial élu doit être celui qui a été choisi. Donc le résultat octroyé non mérité, nous n’accepterons jamais cela. Parce que l’enjeu d’une élection, c’est le rejet ou l’acceptation du résultat et pour que celui-ci soit accepté, il faut que le pouvoir organisateur soit réellement impartial, neutre et indépendant. Voilà pourquoi nous plaidons en faveur d’une transparence électorale de sorte que le processus électoral dans toutes ses phases soit correct, vraiment juste et sincère », a-t-il souhaité.
A moins de deux semaines de la clôture de dépôt des candidatures, la liste s’allonge peu à peu avec MATATA PONYO, Constant MUTAMBA, Radjabho TABABHO, Rex KAZADI et maintenant Franck DIONGO comme candidats.
