La Ministre du porte feuille Adèle KAYUNDA MAHINA a, dans une correspondance signée le 27 septembre 2023, demandé la démission des mandataires publics actifs candidats aux élections générales du 20 décembre 2023.
D’après cette correspondance, tout mandataire public actif candidat aux élections est tenu de déposer sa lettre de démission à la date limite de dépôt des candidatures à la CENI pour être éligible.
« Conformément aux dispositions de l’article 10 point 5 de la Loi n° 06/006 du 09 mars 2006 portant organisation des élections présidentielle, législatives, provinciales, urbaines, municipales et locales, telle que modifiée et complétée à ce jour, tout mandataire public actif candidat aux élections est tenu de déposer sa lettre de démission à la date limite de dépôt des candidatures à la CENI pour être éligible.». Précise le document.
Et d’ajouter:
« Cette démission qui marque la volonté sans équivoque et inconditionnelle pour le mandataire public actif de mettre définitivement fin à son mandat doit être notifiée au Ministre ayant le Portefeuille dans ses attributions conformément aux dispositions de l’article 23 du Décret n° 13/055 du 13 décembre 2013 portant statut des mandataires publics dans les entreprises du Portefeuille de l’État, tel que modifié et complété à ce jour.» lit-on dans la correspondance.
Il sied de signaler qu’il a été demandé à tout Directeur Général et Directeur Général Adjoint, candidat aux prochaines élections de transmettre sa lettre de démission au plus tard le samedi 30 septembre 2023.
