Investir dans l’avenir : un campus moderne pour l’Université Officielle de Mbuji-Mayi, fruit de l’action gouvernementale

En présence de plusieurs autorités nationales et provinciales, le Président de la République, Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, a inauguré ce lundi le nouveau campus universitaire de l’Université Officielle de Mbuji-Mayi (UOM), implanté dans le quartier Kansele, commune de Muya, au cœur du Kasaï-Oriental.
Ce complexe moderne, financé par le gouvernement central, constitue une avancée majeure pour l’enseignement supérieur dans la région. Il comprend trois bâtiments principaux à deux niveaux :
Le premier bâtiment abrite 16 auditoires modernes, chacun pouvant accueillir jusqu’à 200 étudiants dans des conditions optimales.
Le deuxième bâtiment comprend deux amphithéâtres de 400 places chacun, destinés aux conférences et aux cours magistraux de grande envergure.
Le troisième bâtiment est une résidence universitaire de 154 chambres collectives, offrant aux étudiants un cadre de vie favorable à leur parcours académique.
À travers cette infrastructure, le Chef de l’État réaffirme sa détermination à moderniser les universités congolaises et à doter la jeunesse d’outils adaptés pour une formation de qualité, conforme aux standards internationaux.
